Buffalo Light Lighthouse Table Lamp, New York

This octagonal, gray stone tower overlooks the terminus of the Erie Canal. Built in 1833 and then raised to its present height of 60 feet in 1858, it stood watch over the Canal until its decommissioning in 1914. It stood idle until 1987, when it was beautifully restored, and its light was relit for the first time in 73 years. Overall lamp height is 24″.
