Tybee Island Lighthouse is the oldest active lighthouse on the southeast coast. Built in 1867 on the outermost coastal island at the mouth of the Savannah River, with a brick tower that reaches up to 145 feet, Tybee Light is a bright beacon and welcome sight for all seafarers to behold.
