The official name of this unusual lighthouse in Bandon is Coquille River, but the local residents frequently refer to it as Bandon Light. Built in 1896, it has a white conical tower that rises 47 feet above sea level and a fourth-order lens for light. Once abandoned, the lighthouse fell into disrepair but was rescued and restored by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Overall lamp height is 24".
